BALLET SUPPORT GROUP
The Ballet Support Group (The “BSG”) is run by volunteer parents of The Graduate College of Dance. The role of the BSG is to support the students through facilitating communication between the College and the parents and to fundraise for the benefit of the College and its students. To this end the BSG Committee organizes events and activities throughout the year including a number of opportunities for parents to meet each other along with a variety of fundraising activities such as sausage sizzles, raffles, photo sales and various social functions.
Funds raised by the BSG support the opportunity for students to be taught and assessed by guest examiners, teachers and choreographers from interstate and overseas in addition to facilitating the engagement of a guest artist for the end of year performance as well as other events and resources that benefit the students throughout the year.
Coffee mornings are regularly held on Saturday mornings at the dance studio and full details of events and details about how to get involved are available to parents in the regular BSG newsletter.
