Introductory Dance Performance Course
in further recoginition of the high standard of training provided by The Graduate College of Dance, the importance of classical training in the younger years, and in response to demand from parents, we have introduced an Introductory Dance Performance Course aimed at providing training for younger students wanting to attend the College and our dance studio. The course is specially designed for students aged five to nine years.

RAD Exams
Preparation for RAD examinations is available at The Graduate College of Dance as an extra-curricular activity. For further information please contact the administration office on 9380 0551. Conditions apply.

The Graduate College of Dance Endorsed Ballet Programme
The Curriculum Council have endorsed The Graduate College of Dance: Classical Ballet Year 10, The Graduate College of Dance: Classical Ballet Year 11 and The Graduate College of Dance: Classical Ballet Year 12. Students at The Graduate College of Dance completing these programs can count this learning towards their senior secondary graduation certificate – the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE).

In our modern dance studio, the Graduate College of Dance offers a comprehensive eight-year course in ballet classes and dance lessons for students from Years 5 to 12. The first three years focus on classical ballet technique, posture, creative dance and music, with pointe work introduced in the latter part of Year 6. Contemporary and Character dance commence in Year 8. Spanish dance and Repertoire are introduced at the beginning of Year 10, while Pas de Deux and fitness training are features of Years 11 & 12.

Theoretical Studies start in Year 8 and include History of Ballet, Anatomy, Music, Ballet Technique and Theatre Studies.
