Introductory Dance Performance Course RAD Exams
The Graduate College of Dance Endorsed Ballet Programme

The Graduate College of Dance offers a comprehensive eight-year course for students from Years 5 to 12. The first three years focus on classical ballet technique, posture and creative dance, with pointe work introduced in the latter part of Year 6. Contemporary and Character dance commence in Year 8. Spanish dance and Repertoire are introduced at the beginning of Year 10, while Pas de Deux and fitness training are features of Years 11 & 12. Theoretical Studies start in Year 8 and include History of Ballet, Anatomy, Music, Ballet Technique and Theatre Studies.
STUDY HOURS
Year 8 Twelve hours over five training sessions per week and three hours Performance Studies on a Saturday.
