BALLET SUPPORT GROUP

The Ballet Support Group (BSG) is a body run by the parents of The Graduate College of
Dance – a sub-branch of Perth Modern School’s P&C Committee.

The group consists of volunteer parents whose role is to support the students of The
Graduate College of Dance.  Our primary function is to fundraise for the benefit of the College and students – we organise events, provide forums for parents to meet each other and
assist ‘behind the scenes’.

The funds raised by the BSG support the opportunity for students to be taught and assessed by guest examiners, teachers and choreographers from interstate and overseas; support the cost of Year 12 Graduation as well as other events that benefit our students.

A variety of fundraising methods such as football / event parking opportunities, wine and
t-shirt orders, morning teas and social functions are organised.

Each month on a Saturday morning at the College dance studio, the BSG conducts a meeting to  discuss and organise upcoming activities.  These meetings are open for all parents of the College to attend.  Any offer of support, whether large or small, is greatly appreciated, please don’t hesitate to say hello.  This is a wonderful avenue to meet other parents, check out our dance studio and get involved in your child’s interest in ballet and dance.
