Entry into The Graduate College of Dance is by audition and interview only, and numbers accepted into each year of study are limited. In our dance studios the Graduate College of Dance conducts annual auditions for entry into the College the following year for both the Junior and Senior Schools. Private auditions are available on request.

Students undertaking these auditions are given a short physical examination and a classical ballet class. Successful applicants are notified by mail following the audition.

Interstate and international students undertake an initial assessment by DVD and photographs.

Acceptance into ballet classes, dancing lessons and dance classes held by The Graduate College of Dance is based on the applicant's natural physical facilities, required technical skill, coordination and sense of rhythm (Junior School), required level of technical skill, artistry and physical suitability for classical ballet (Senior School).

All applicants must complete the Application for Audition Form and include an Audition Administration Fee of A$35, a passport size photo of the applicant and their last academic school report. On receipt the applicant will be posted or emailed the Audition Procedures and Requirements.

For further information contact the Administration Office of The Graduate College of Dance on phone 61-8-9380 0551 or email gradcollege@perthmodern.wa.edu.au.
